Primary Schools Interschool cross country

On Friday, May 12 Mrs Carter took a
group of Year 7/8 students through to
Rangitoto to compete in the annual Interschool
Cross Country event.
The weather was sunny with a little
brisk wind (no rain, which was nice and
a drastic change from our own event
[see P9]).
The students ran their hearts out with
some sprint finishes, demonstrating
alot of passion. Mrs Carter was super
proud of the students for their efforts
and commitment all the way to the end.
Piopio College came away with some podium finishes.
