Olympian Visit to Piopio College

Last week we were very fortunate to have Sarah Cowley-Ross speak to us about her journey and determination to become an olympian.

She talked about her struggles and the barriers that she had to overcome. She also spoke about all the highlights she exeperienced through her sport/event - Heptathlon.

It was a very powerful presentation and it was a good reminder for our students that you can achieve anything you set your mind to, no matter what area of life it in is. If you connect with the right people and have a positive mindset everything and anything is possible.
