ANZAC - Looking forward

Despite uncertainly around Covid restrictions our 2021 Anzac Commemoration service went ahead with a few changes. It was well attended with valuable input from all the schools, services and the wider community.

Although it may be a strange time to be again looking ahead to next year, there is always an opportunity to do things differently, and maybe in a uniquely Piopio way. It takes some time to make changes or develop new initiatives. Please give this some thought and perhaps speak with one of the Rural Women NZ members, who currently co-ordinate the event, or Pam Voyce, our MC for the past two years.

For many years the ANZAC service has been well supported here in a district which gave so much during years of conflict. Now is possibly a good time to look to the future.
