Gus Nelson Representing NZ

LOCAL LAD Gus Nelson has been selected as a reserve for the NZ Junior Black Sticks squad.

It is the first Junior Black Sticks squad in three years, having last played in October 2019.

The son of Blair and Anna Nelson of Aria, Gus recently played for the Canterbury Men’s B “Beavers” team,winning their division at National tournament.

His Marist Club team won the Christchurch Men’s competition as well.
