King Country Rivercare - Upcoming events

A HUGE THANKS to everyone who has supported King Country River Care over the last 12 months.

On August 27 we held our AGM.
• Tim Stokes was elected as Chair.
• Mat Sherriff has been re-elected as Treasurer.
• No changes to the committee.
• Reon, on behalf of the committee,
acknowledged J Margetts and J Reeves for their contribution to KCRC.

Acknowledgement and thanks to Reon for his contribution as chair.
• Subs for the upcoming year were held at the same level, these will be filtering through inboxes at the end of
September – please get in touch via email if you’re keen to join.

Special mention and thank you to Te Radar for his entertaining presentation at our AGM and at Te Waitere. Thoroughly
enjoyed by all with plenty of laughs!

Update from Beef & Lamb about EFEI, Eliminating Facial Eczema Impact programme. Sarah Powdrell from Beef &
Lamb Genetics will equip us with the tools to understand the breeding index and to identify breeders/rams that can
improve your profitability.

Save the Date Reminder
We will also be hosting the Bitches’ Box: Episode 4 on Wednesday, December 11 at Mahoenui. Mark it in your diaries for a fun filled evening. Tickets $25 per person available from October.

We are busy working on a project plan for 2025. If there are key topics, ideas or pilots you would like explored in 2025, let us know.
