Shop at Bellebirds boutique, eat at the Night Owl or the Fat Pigeon, or try locally made berry ice cream at the Piopio orchard. Explore scenic drives and day walks.

Waitomo is a top spot for adventure tourism. The Piopio district has several breathtakingly beautiful cycling routes on quiet country roads. Or try black water rafting, caving, and abseiling at the Waitomo Caves, further north towards Hamilton.
